Renovated 1980’s unit, tailored to sophisticated living
Originally constructed in the 1980’s this unit has been waiting patiently to be transformed into its current state – a modern and luxurious home for our clients. Our clients had a wonderful vision for their home, with the help of their Brisbane based Architect and their Bondi Beach based Interior Designer.
This project was a pleasure to complete, however the construction phase was not without its complications, and its restrictions and limitations were dealt with well by our clients. From the bonded asbestos throughout the unit’s ceilings to restrictions on plumbing, this project kept us on our toes
Daily discussions were had between SEC Constructions and the Sydney based interior designer, Amanda Luckmann. Because of the complexity of the job and due to the specification made by the designer we were adamant on a maintaining a strong level of communication between all parties.
Overall this project was a highlight of our 2019. We are so happy to share it with you all.

“The renovation itself involved the complete gutting of our 2 bedroom apartment and repositioning of walls. We discovered asbestos in the ceilings and Scott came up with a lateral solution which saved us considerable money. The asbestos problem also took a couple of weeks to solve however SEC Constructions still finished our renovation a week ahead of time.”
